WaterWorks Museum Tour and Presentation

Step inside the WaterWorks Museum to see the history of Louisville’s water come to life! Located inside the west wing of Louisville Water Company’s original Pumping Station No. 1, the WaterWorks Museum highlights Louisville Water’ Company's archive of historic photographs, films and memorabilia, some of which date back to 1860. Discover the company’s contributions to safe drinking water through its innovations in science and engineering.


Join us for a walking tour beginning at 11 am. Lunch will be provided at noon on site accompanied by a presentation by the Louisville Water Company highlighting their innovative Riverbank Filtration program.

The Young Professionals Committee objectives:

  1. Recruit, develop, produce programs, and encourage participation in the Section activities of Young Professionals (YPs) throughout the Kentucky/Tennessee Section. Young Professionals are generally considered to be members or prospective members under the age of 35.
  1. Chair shall be a member of the joint Water Professionals Steering committee and shall serve in conjunction with the Young Professional Committee  from the KY-TN WEA to form the joint Young Professionals Committee that serves under the by-laws and standard practices of the Joint Water Professionals Steering Committee.
