The Public Affairs Committee objectives:
- Work to increase and improve awareness of the importance of public information for water utilities.
- Assist utilities to develop and implement community relations programs designed to improve the image of the water utility industry.
- Promote community appreciation for services provided by utilities through publicity and public relations programs.
- Assist utilities to improve employer-employee communications for the common good of the public and the water industry.
