Competitions - Water Professionals Conference

Do you attend the conference? Do you like the excitement of the competitions? Well we have the opportunity for you! We are looking to grow our team that is responsible for making sure the competitions at the annual Water Professionals Conference runs smoothly. Please contact Sally Weist at memberservices@kytnawwa.org if you are interested.



Water Utility Council (WUC) – if you are a KY/TN Section AWWA Utility member and are interested in affecting water industry legislation on both the Federal and State level by serving on either the Tennessee or Kentucky WUC Leadership Committee, please contact Hal Balthrop, P.E. at hal.balthrop@nashville.gov


TNWARN – TNWARN is in the process of increasing its presence with the involvement of TDEC, TAUD and TEMA…..we’d like to include you.  If you are a KY/TN Section AWWA member, please join this group (it’s free) by setting up your account at http://www.tnwarn.org/ Also, if you are interested in serving on the West TN, Middle TN or East TN Subcommittees please contact Hal Balthrop, P.E. at hal.balthrop@nashville.gov  Time commitment is minimal and will act as a liaison for utilities in distress during activations in your Grand Division.


Communications Committee - committee members needed from KY. This committee helps to compile and edit the Section newsletter and magazine and edit content on the website. Any interested persons contact Candace Vanasdale, Communications Committee Chair at cvannasdale@hub-tn.com
